My Statement as a North American on Draw Mohammed Day
You’ll not find any quarter from me on the Islamist agenda or much even on basic Islamic doctrine. Today however on Draw Mohammed Day, we the creators, the artists, the writers and the illustrators in this society who care about free expression and liberty, today we take the cowards way out.
If anything we should be attacking the people at Comedy Central who censored the South Park episode. We should know their names, who they are and save our artistic ire for them and them alone.
Instead we needlessly hurt some of our friends and neighbors who are like us but have come from a muslim family background. They too care about liberty and free expression and though they may not like it and wish it did not happen, probably would prefer to ignore the South Park cartoon rather than forbid it outright or ridiculously threaten violence for it’s mere broadcast. No doubt some are even relishing the idea of drawing Mohammed, as Muslims to my knowledge are not monolithic in North America.
Whatever their opinion on this matter, these fellow citizens are not responsible for the actions of those associated with Comedy Central and there is no reason to attack their traditions for the ill-considered actions of the cable channel.
It is to those who were responsible for the decision to whom we must direct our energies and efforts. Anything less is simply lazy and cowardly.

I got a lot of flack for it but I pointed out everyday in the West is Draw Mohammed day and that the old South Park pic of Mo is on wikipedia which has a bigger audience than the Comedy Channel alone.
25+ years on apple product but this App censorship is the reason I am going Android for all my future needs and if I can find employment that does not require Apple gear, then I am gone.

wow I work at a an Apple reseller selling Apple shit by the bucketloads but i will never buy any portable music player from them now - and I had one on order for the 15th of May.
I just bought a XBox 360 "Ellite" hd-dvd system eventhough I do not have a HD tv...but as a gamer I'd say go with the X or the PS3 cuz the games rollout for the PS3 is pretty bad - looks like MS was correct to release early and reap an earlyy and sustained win in the library wars - much as ps2 did last gen.
BUT I AGREE ABOUT THE DEATH of physical media wholeheartedlly - I can't wait to get a 8 GIG MicroSD card for my cell phone later this yeart - the thing is smaller than most adult male fingernails and it holds 8 gigs? I mean c'mon, see ya later discardable plastic discs
I give it 5 - 10 years before the DVD/CD format is gone from the mainstream.

that is almost unbelievable. makes me glad to have a Nokia 6275i. Though only capable of holding a 2 Gig flash card to play music, those tunes continue playing during games like galagga, dig dug and xevious or even the FM radio. ...taking 2 Mp pictures and video (decidely not 2 Mp) and browsing the web - it may not be pretty but this Branson-branded pay as you go phone certainly has it charms.
The thing cost me 179 plus tax CDN and seems like a bargain now.

It's not "good" lighting that is needed but sunlight/outdoors light. I think the CCD is set to one temperature and this is daylight. Cloudy conditions are good too - but indoor/artifical lighting will not be good unless you have a photographic light set-up - I'm sure photo pro can tell you the temp in k....I think it's 5000K or so.

I'm a 30-year gamer with an Elite 360 at home but I find games that mimic stuff you should do in real life despicable.
