New academic year has not long started, so it won't appear in the curriculum for another year. Halfway through the tax year, so this year's budget is already set and next year's is a long way away.
I don't believe it will turn out to be as much of a turkey as this thread suggests. A finger doesn't produce milk, but that doesn't mean a baby won't suck on it as if it was a nipple.
that backs up my SMS and call log into a GMail folder. Free from the Play Store, so not exactly your hardcore criminal stuff. If I create some of my own correctly formatted messages in that folder and restore them using this backup app, I think I can falsify the logs. Nice evidence you've got there.
and subsequently recovered by police, could they also use this to inspect it to check it's yours and for evidence regarding the stealing- even if you are not suspected of any crime yourself?
.test, .example, .invalid - it's none of those things, we're talking about production use
.localhost - is for 127.0.0.1
And using globally-valid FQDNs may break things differently or reveal the structure of your internal network to outsiders. If it's for internal use only, what do you tell your registrar to delegate as the NS?

Why does Confused.com

Or even less than that

Isn't that the wrong time of the year to launch?

Have a firmware that logs everything
So that data access necessarily involves modifying the contents of the phone. Like a tamper-evident seal.
If your phone is stolen
and subsequently recovered by police, could they also use this to inspect it to check it's yours and for evidence regarding the stealing- even if you are not suspected of any crime yourself?
Re: Biggest pump and dump in history?
I'm reminded of an episode of the Simpsons.

Obviously piracy is bad (mmkay?) but the real facepalm here is voluntarily trumpeting your misdemeanours in a job interview!

I must try that New Coke everyone's talking about.
Whether a warrant is required is largely immaterial
because the ISP will have to inspect and record the data first, so it still exists should a warrant be issued within 12 months.
