Simple.....you have to remove the card now!!!! If you get a new debit card with the wave symbol, something like )))) then if you have that and an Oyster in your wallet the Oyster will not pick up and you get stuck at the barrier like a muppet. At the mo I have never used my contactless debit card but I do have to take my oyster card out.
The Playbook could have been a hit.....I would have considered buying one, but I do not want to have a BB phone that is required to tether it to, so no sale. A massive mistake by RIM in IMO.
So they start pushing the new OS but the new phones will not appear till the end of the year, that is a LONG time in today's tech world and hardly sets the world alight.....in the meantime Apple have done the new ipad and people are still wanting to buy the 4S while the 5 is on its way......Android have that many phones appearing which look great and will have ICS on them.
It will take some rabbit out of the hat at the end of the year.
Yep....when I go in somewhere that claims to have "Free wi-fi" If I am going to be there for some time I will have one go at getting online......when that fails I turn on my 3G hotspot on my phone. (And carry a spare battery, I can do that not having an iPhone, so down vote me now) Even if you only get GRPS it is good enough to do the basics, picking up email and having a look at the news.
When you get use to having a slow connection you soon get use to clicking links on the main page while pressing CTRL so it opens the link on a new page.....by the time you have waited for the first one to load and read it, the chances are the next one has already loaded in the back ground.
I think Wi-Fi does have a place in the home and in very poor mobile areas, but it is getting very cheap to just take your own with you!
All I want is to be able to buy music and have it on any device I own, good quality is a must....simples! I do not want to buy the LP three times........
It cuts off steaming and uploads, you can still email, surf........I think that is about it....but of course go over too often and they will want to change your deal, not sure how active they are about it all.
So you get alerts form facebook via email.....then also told about updates when you log in to facebook....and if you have not got the hint you get results in Bing (Google for +).....what the heck!
This is just social media over kill......which should be killed off asap!
This would be perfect if it comes in anywhere near £250....my other half wants a good quality tablet as she is very jealous of my XOOM that I got for £249. Only need the wifi version as her phone can be a wifi hotspot so no need for another contract!
The most import bit of kit I carry around is a double plug.
Great on trains when there are a lack of plugs......also great in the odd office you visit where they sit you on the end of a set of desk where all the power sockets are being used!
maybe T-mobile should investigate this as a way to ensure they get the extra cash from their customers instead of trying to reduce their data allowance.
Maybe they might have to now they have done a u turn on the data allowance front!

Close!
It is close on the 10" but no GPS, no bluetooth and needs a little more staying power.
Discount?
If enough of them get together they might get a discount on their refund!

Facebook
Sounds a little like facebook.....keeps requiring "Investment"....if they made any money they could invest it in themselves.
Dot Com Bubble 2 the sequel .....
Changing History
This is like a dictatorship ..... just airbrush anything or anyone out of history as if it did not happen.
Well Max....the newspaper DID publish all kinds of stuff, you took them to court and won. That is the full history of events.
Now if you wish to airbrush out the fact the paper published, maybe you should airbrush out the fact you won the court case QED.
History is history.....do not try a rewrite it just because you do not like it!
Muppets
It says on the bilpvert that they are sponsoring the Channel. How plain does it have to be?
Had they been drinking with the Apple lawyers before making the judgement?
TVCATCHUP
Tvcatchup is not an app but a website that works wonderfully well over 3G and WiFi....plus it has all the Freeview channels
Why moan about not having an app when a web link works perfectly well!
Double Plug!

Wifi
Ok I take it back it does have WiFi......
WiFi
And no WiFi.....so if you live in a place like me with a very poor phone signal, you cannot use you home WiFi to get a connection......
Orange have gone down hill fast in the last few years on many fronts.
