Just had to put in my two <local-minor-denomination>s for the affirmative team - I found this article extremely amusing. Frankly I'm amazed people still see this 'language', let alone find it offensive. Indeed, this article reads exactly like conversation from our office.
Couple this with a hypervisor, and you could browse the web/skype/whatever while your full OS boots in the background... obviously there's likely to be limited space on the flash, but with some user choice in software packages (like selecting audio/movie players, and... other things that people might want) this could be pretty darn cool in a number of ways...
Used to be a journalist would research a topic before submitting an article on it, and editors would laugh this sort of trash out of publication. Seems not to be the case these days.
If I was to spend the time un-FUDing this article, the rebuff would end up longer than the original. A right, real shoddy piece of journalism.
""Handheld PC"? "YouTube videos look even better on the phone's screen than the average PC display"? Perhaps the end user's degree of dissatisfaction is proportional to a degree to a general unfamiliarity with Apple products."
Perhaps the commenter could post in sentences with meaning?
"...will fix the reaming problems with a new BIOS update..."
Hmmm, well, I suppose it depends on the circles you move in, but reaming is not always considered a problem. In cases where it is, I must say that this is the first I've heard of it being fixed with an upgrade to the onboard thought-control BIOS... still, that's why we come to El Reg - for the scoop on such ground-breaking technology. Keep it up!

That's probably what you want... if you only need to do GSM, for WCDMA (and WIFI) wait for v2, which should be out in the next few months...
I call FUD

RE: Make Love not War BIOS ......... again.
Is there a reason the bot is allowed to keep spamming these comments?

Freudian slip?
