Apart from its appallingly slow startup time - which is something I've noticed afflicts a lot of Microsoft Applications on the Mac - Word is actually rather neat and usable.
Excel on the Mac - also very neat - Shockingly UnMicrosoft in fact
My Iphone uses an OS, my HTC uses an OS and seeing as these are effectively hand held computers, I think they are worthy of inclusion into any "Market Share" debate.
As to the Windoze thing - it always reminds me of the old saying "Eat dung, 20 trillion flies can't be wrong"
As if the average punter gives a damn about browser speeds
What they want is a nice bit of kit in their pockets, something thats easy to use and update, maybe even something that has a bit of resale value when they decide to upgrade.
I love the idea of Android but its got a long, long way to go to get close to the Apple offering.
As a confirmed Fanboi, it looks great and I was sorely tempted to splash out on one yesterday but I have 2 desktops macs, a macbook, an Iphone and multiple pods I thought.. Nice but I have no need for it.
That said, I do love the pad as it winds up the Wintards a treat and thats always good for a laugh.
