Funnily enough there was a Star Trek: TNG episode called Force Of Nature which was about this theory, so I wonder if rather than having "re-examined the maths of the Alcubierre drive" they really just watched a DVD box set of the show while they were stoned?

Do all of those who keep commenting about how they prefer CDs because it doesn't have DRM still think it's 2005 and not 2011? None of the legal download stores that I have been using for years (Amazon, Play and others) have DRM in their music downloads.
Now that they've stopped attacking their fellow Irishmen to a large degree, they do seem to have turned their hatred onto ethnic minorities in NI, so this story does not surprise me at all.

I was a Linux skeptic until I tried it and I have installed it on a 4 year old Toshiba laptop and an Athlon 3200 based desktop without any driver or setup problems. It runs DVDs,mp3s, CDs and video files out of the box without the user having to fiddle with configuration files.
