How to get support

I've found you really do need to take Google support from an authorised third party. Have more thoughts at http://www.next-genit.co.uk/events-1

Also Google Groups is not officially support for corporate use from memory - the SLA that applies to other products may not apply..

Useful for business

We're using these (well actually the Samsung Skype TV) as a low cost alternative to Tandberg/Cisco/Polycom video conferences in our business. Works great.

Yes it doesn't work with old clients but that will be sorted in a few months. Do agree it is for early adopters at this stage.

You forgot Gravity

Gravity is probably the best Symbian app out there - have a look at http://mobileways.de/products/gravity/gravity/ It does Facebook, Twitter, Google Reader etc etc

Happy

Using it since the beginning

I've used this service since it first launched as no Vodafone coverage inside the house. In the first monthly it was only usable about 20% of the time. It is now usable about 90% of the time and is relatively stable. Would love it to be 100% but great to be able to do work from home now!

One minor quirk is that the A-GPS gets confused by it, so all location based packages stop working...

Symbian as mobile computing

Given your thoughts on this, perhaps Symbian has a bit more going for it still...

Thumb Up

Was bad, now much better

I had real problems when first setup, but now running much, much better and all good for me.

This has been a great addition for me as no O2, T-mobile or Vodafone coverage for me and work uses Vodafone for phones
