Not sure thats true. I've been running a web server business on Intel x-25 SSDs for 3 years now 24/7 with no problems at all. Over 100 machines not one failure yet.
I run 50+ intel SSD machines here and only ever had one "failure" which was simply s.m.a.r.t errors (all the data was fine). I rang up intel and it was pretty hard to RMA as they didn't believe there was a problem!! Thats either a really reliable drive or really bad support.
I am stopping my Virgin Media subscription this week as well, broadband was the only thing keeping me and it has always been very good. Its better to get be internet now I think.

Having around 100 based Intel SSD machines in my organization I can understand why they are doing this. Not had a single disk fail yet.

Hope they get the plugin system working as well as VBulletin though. That's what really makes good software.
