1) The iMac is available with a FREE keyboard with keypad (although to be fair you have to choose this as the default is the one without)
2) Complete over-exaggeration that you can't use Excel or Numbers without a numpad, even if 1) wasn't right, you can work perfectly well without one, as most laptop users know
And I forgot to mention that you don't at all take into account the bad pound/dollar conversation rate that is the major reason for the rise in Apple's product prices in the UK.

Reduce cable clutter?
If all this is about reducing cable clutter, why not get on and move all the devices over to wireless!
Even Paris knows this makes sense...
