Think about it. Earth is constantly rotating as it orbits Sol, which is also working its way around the Milky Way as it orbits and travels up and down vertically in the elliptical plane. That's a lot of information to calculate. If you are sending a message through time, it likely isn't bound by local space as it crosses dimensions. You'd need to calculate for both where and when you want the message to be received.
So if you sent a message back from 2020 to today, the location of the transmitter/receiver will not be in the same absolute place as the receiver's location in the past. If that wasn't taken into account, there might be a signal/message somewhere out in space that is going undetected.
So time traveling particles may exist and may carry messages back to the past, but we can't prove it. It would likely not be bound by local forces once unstuck from time.
I let my account expire after baring using it during its first year (grabbed it when I bought the 3g model). Just checked and they want $109 to reactivate it (99 plus tax). Waiting to see what they do next.

My Google Earth doesn't detect an update, but CNET's Tech Tracker told me there is one. I saw that the download from the official site bundles Chrome, but I was able to deselect it. You are not forced into it. There are two options selected : Bundle Chrome and Make Chrome Default. Just uncheck the boxes and you won't have to worry about it.
Those are amazing tools. I remember being so tempted by the 41 model until I learned the difference was that it added saws. Now the Lite version looks perfect. The 34 model plus a flashlight and magnifying glass.
On a DVD player you can usually skip most fluff (FBI, Trailers, Propaganda, etc) by using the remote. Hit Stop, Stop, and Play to go straight to the film. Does that work on Blu-Ray players such as this one?

Let me get this straight. Let's say I am in a 688I (LA Class) attack sub when a P-3 or some other aircraft goes active via lasers to detect a Russian sub. I'm exposed by the same pulse, negating any advantage I had. One reason subs hate to go active is because it gives away their position. If I can go active and detect something 6000' away, I know that someone roughly 60,000' can pinpoint my position as I gave myself away.
Having an airdale give away a sub's position could be disasterous. Slow data rates and a few 220db pulses I can live with (better than the buoy or floating wire. Airdales going active and compromising our subs, bad. Better to do that in an area where our subs are known to NOT be in, and use skimmers' buoys to detect.

There is nothing here to stop people from playing with one of these DVDs with varying pulses of electricity until they learn what will safely render the layer transparent. Then the hackers can just post the voltage on the Doom 9 forum. What a waste of money to develope, as well as outfitting retailers to support this.
