@Not bad....

Lol. Yes I love that.

I'll be off to the internet cafe, use the mobile to call some foreigner who will call the local technician to come by sometime between 2009 and 2015.

It's called progress.

Can it warp space-time?

Or do I have to wait for the Large hadron collider to do that?

Where's my cut?

We little people rarely get to see marketing research money change hands. I feel blessed.

But a car...

It makes sense, but a trains forte is bulk freight or passengers.

Car drivers should be ashamed if most of their commute is spent in a virtual parking lot. Maybe now we can get the Gov to put trams (or bus lanes) everywhere in the interest of the environment.

What about helicopters?

This is really valid

XP is less resource hungry and Micro$oft is harming everyone who buys 2nd hand low spec hardware. Mostly Russians.

There is a plentiful supply of software that actually 'doesn't' require a state of the art OS to run.

How very appropriate

How very appropriate I am listening to Britney Spears Circus while reading this.

Cheers from Oz. And have fun with the circus.

RE: nor mini laptop but a handtop

It sounds like your GF was offering you a quickie.

Paris, because she works best in an infinite loop.

Not meant to have UMD

It is meant to be a cut down PSP, not a replacement, or so i've read.

RE: Amiga x86 erm actually

"If only they'd ported AmigaOS to X86 hardware... *sigh*"

There is AROS (Amiga research OS) for x86. Fully working. I haven't tried it yet but the screenshots are nice.

BTW Argument will be moot when Apple shows people what a Nettop OS should be. No doubt it will be available in Arm or x86 variants as well.
