As long as your code is clean, clear and well-documented (both inline documentation, as well as clear overall documentation), then it matters not how many return-points you use.
I like my code to be clear to someone looking at it for the first time, without 20 levels of indentation and brackets, etc.
Good, linear, carefully thought-out code means that you don't screw whichever poor bastard has to come along when you get hit by a bus!
I think the best use of these jammers would be to switch one on just long enough to stop the arsehole's current call, and watch him swear, and look at the "Good signal" indicator...
THEN when he reconnects, jam him again just long enough to get a reaction, but again switch off the jammer before he looks at the signal strength indicator...
And so on, and again, and again, until he has a fit and tosses the phone out altogether!
Technology is and ACCELERATOR and MULTIPLIER of Human Behaviour and Aspirations.
If 1% of your population have bad or anti-social aspirations, then technology MULTIPLIES that !
History is rife with examples of enabling technologies being misused.
For example:
Handguns and small arms. The world is MUCH more dangerous now that these technologies are in widespread use. 14 year-olds in Africa with assault weapons? No wonder many place in Africa are so unstable.
Cellphones: Now used in controlling IEDs and to coordinate anti-social behaviour and terrorism.
Nuclear chemicals: too horrible to consider.
It's like that old saying, "Guns don't kill people. People kill people."
-- YES, it's just that guns make it So Much Easier !
WIthout education and social tolerance, society breaks down. And technology speeds that process up, for good or evil.
Most of the "missing" who bought iPhones will not be using them via AT&T, but via WiFi initially, or hoping that the iPhones can be "modified" to work on another cellular system, or with VOIP etc.
( I cancelled my account last October within the rules, and service was immediately discontinued, but despite 20+ phone calls to the BOARD OF DIRECTORS of Pipex, I am STILL getting bills every month! They agree the bills are wrong, but don't know how to stop the bills going out! )
Unfortunately, John Sweeney fell into a standard Scientology trap: Provoke the journalist severly, including invasion of personal space, to try to get a reaction. Journalists who fall into this trap are easily discreditted by the astounding Scientology propoganda machine.
In the USA, games of chance must SHOW the odds of winning each prize.
For example: 1,000,000 to 1, or 20,000,000 to 1
If the UK were to have this law, and shows had to list the odds, then there'd be 1/10th the number of players, and the rest would at least know they were wasting their money.
Bulldog are still sending me Bills by email, even though I cancelled my subscription SIX MONTHS AGO. They even called to confirm that I had cancelled after I complained to the board of directors. But they STILL keep sending me bills, six months later!
"Do your included minutes work when you're overseas? Or when calling friends and business contacts in the USA? On their cells? Do they stop you getting billed for receiving inbound calls when you're overseas? And... can you use any gsm minutes at all in rural locations?"
When I am overseas, most of my calls are local to where I am, and I do NOT make them call me in London!
When calling outside the UK, I use 1899 for a penny per minute.
"rural locations" - I rarely have any trouble.
So, perhaps I only represent 99% of the cellphone-carrying public.
In the USA, all "games of chance" (regardless of "knowledge" content) MUST clearly show the odds of winning EACH prize.
If the UK were to adopt these rules across the board (print, TV, telephone, internet), and restrict all contests to those 18 yrs or older, then most of this problem would disappear.
NO gambling or access to gambling should be allowed for those under 18 yrs old.
That includes "Blue Peter" "charity events" where kids are enticed to call on their parents' phone bills to WIN A PRIZE, even if all receipts go to charity.
IT IS STILL GAMBLING and NOT a good lesson for children, are you listening BBC?

Data Protection violation?
What gives Sky the right to change your emails ? To change the Reply address?
Isn't this a breach of legislation?
USA corrupt contractors versus UK corrupt contractors
The ONLY reason the US cares is because some lobbyist for some US military manufacturer is trying to screw up the UK military business.
Clean, clear and well-documented = The Answer

Camera: Crappy over-compression still ?
Has anyone tested to see if the camera STILL over-compresses image?
Originally, you took a 5 MP picture = 15 MBytes or so, and Nokia steps on it hard: Resulting image size: 800 Kbytes, or about 20:1 compression.
Might as well use a 2 MP camera instead.
I don't have one, but...

NOT too expensive...
just under-powered.
Once it has 3G, GPS and more memory, it'll sell just fine at that price.
Jeez, if an HMRC truck driver is drunk and runs over someone...
...is that Alistair Darling's fault.
Let's see ANY of you do a better job.
Get real.
And you wonder...
And you wonder why Religion is making a comeback...
A (religious) fool and his/her money are soon parted
Jeez! (so to speak)
There's cash to be made from religious nuts!
Although, it looks like SANTA CLAUS to me: button nose, big moustache, white pointy beard, but with a shirt collar and fat necktie.
I suppose you could claim that anything is the Virgin Mary and someone, somehwere would believe you! For Cash !

This is not helpful, but...

IMPEACH CHENEY and his stooge, BUSH. Convict them and Send them to prison!
Stop this <fill in US gov department> lunacy.
By "Classic", they mean "Old and Slow"
Just how Really Bad are the new Classics?
Here is my list so far -
/- VERY Slow menu switching response (up to SIX seconds)
/- Display of clock rather than song info when "Now Playing"
/- Inability to use existing LEGAL 3rd party dock products (including Apple-advertised)
/- Audio skipping during operation of menus
/- Slow connection to Mac/PC
/- Inability to disable "split-screen" menus
/- Lagging / Unresponsive click-wheel
/- Camera Connector not working
/- Inability to use EQ settings without skipping / distortion
( I will be buying a 5.5G model rather than this premature abomination )
You said: "Much to our surprise..."
Keep in mind, these are Americans, NOT British sheep who buy what they are told and then whimper silently when screwed.
Americans complain and sue at the drop of a hat.
Brits take their punishment and just buy what they're told, usually at near-double what Americans pay.
What's up with that, then?
See it on TV for free, and use (TiVo, Sky+, PVR) to skip the commercials
Why pay?
I have paid $1.99 for some shows to see them before release here in the UK, but at $1.99 per show (about £1), it's a nice convenience.
At $4.99, FORGET IT !!!
Great, another scumbag worthless patent supported by a cartel
see title
Actually...
To be even more accurate, the picture should have been composed of Dead Bodies from Iraq, New Orleans, etc.
The look of a hard-nosed Zealot
Downturned lips, compressed and constipated...
Somewhat vacant look in the eyes...
Hard-facets of the face indicating closed-mindedness...
Superior view, i.e. he's above you in the picture, indicating self-righteousness.
Only thing wrong: Should have a Swastika on his forehead !
Otherwise, a PERFECT picture!
IMPEACH CHENEY and his stooge, BUSH. Send them to prison for life.
Anything that's boiled down to numbers is vulnerable
There is no such thing as security in anything that is boiled down to numbers.
Shareholders: Remove those directors responsible...
...then prosecute them and send them to prison.
How are weapons used?
This tool is a kind of weapon.
Mankind does not have a good record with mass-distribution of weapons.
Just look at Africa:
1. The use of machine guns make soceity impossible.
2. It's impossible for a teenager to have a machine gun and not use it.
Releasing tools like this one is just going to make things worse, on balance.
The Reason
Most of the "missing" who bought iPhones will not be using them via AT&T, but via WiFi initially, or hoping that the iPhones can be "modified" to work on another cellular system, or with VOIP etc.
After all, would you want to use AT&T ? !!!

Baloney, they are at least 35 years old
I remember viruses at MIT in 1972 or 73...
Don't be stupid, there are tens of companies involved
... and each one makes some profit for the parts and assemblies they provide up the chain.
Apple gets the largest share, but also has done by far the most work and innovation.
It happened to me; Bulldog: Bad Dog! Bad!
Pipex swallowed and choked (good!) on Bulldog, one of the worst companies to ever exist, short of chemical warfare manufacturers.
Casio already announced a higher quality 12 MP
And Casio produces better cameras.
I did extensive tests a year ago, and Casio came clearly best.
Just another scam
Patents are a protection racket, with big companies trading licenses to bolster their patents in the eyes of courts.
Most patents are hogwash. Criminal hogwash.
So, how do I plug one into my G4 Mac, then...
So, how do I plug one into my G4 Mac, then...
Good riddance
Bulldog: Bad Dog! Bad!
Here's hoping they drag down Pipex with them.

BBC journalist falls for intentional provocation
Unfortunately, John Sweeney fell into a standard Scientology trap: Provoke the journalist severly, including invasion of personal space, to try to get a reaction. Journalists who fall into this trap are easily discreditted by the astounding Scientology propoganda machine.
We need (many) more exposes of Scientology.
Suspicious Revenue streams: preventing viral infections
Hmmm...
I wonder how we can make more money from our anti-viral software?
Let's rip this software to pieces, to find holes, then SCARE THE SH*T out of the punters.
And if they don;'t pay attention, perhaps the method just might slip out of the lab and propogate in the real world...
No! They wouldn't do that!
Yet Another Excuse - the dog ate my homework
Jeez, people will blame ANYTHING and ANYONE except themselves.
And idiot dorks just LOVE technology, because it offers their lazy minds plenty of excuses.
She just wanted to blow away the car, that;s the real story.

Baloney - another crap ruling by the courts
Complete baloney.
If a mistake (wrongful issue of patent) has been made, ALL monies should be returned. FULL STOP.
THEN there'd be more pressure for Higher Quality of patents, if the patent holder knew he was liable for bullshit patents.
The racket of patents, clearly shown
I'll license my suspect patents to you, and you license yours to me, and the courts will think they're real.
WHAT A RACKET !!!
Intelligence discovered in Hollywood ! (NOT)
What a load of rubbish.
Bulldog (Bad Dog) still billing

Microsoft, as usual, trying to cloak self-interest in Charity.
What a bunch of scum-sucking LIARS.
And OBVIOUS LIARS at that!
Jeez, I already get more "included" minutes per month than I use
Jeez, I already get more "included" minutes per month than I use, so who really cares?
Good riddance
Truly one of the worst Cust Service departments ever, especially when including the Bulldog (Bad Dog) broadband non-service department.
PIPEX, Bulldog, etc - what a sad, disorganized mess
From my experience with Bulldog and Pipex, I wouldn't touch that obscene mess with a 20 foot, insulated pole !!!

Hipocrits! How many of you would like to PAY £3k to sit by a corpse?
I cannot believe you are blaming the passenger who complained!
How many of you would like to PAY £3k to sit by a corpse?
They should apologize and refund his fare.
Perhaps there was nothing better BA could do, but they shouldn't be rude to the poor sod who paid for the seat!
Really !!!
Google buys YouTube? Duuuhhhh, sue us now!
Surely Google saw this coming? I guess not.
Lots of copyrighted materials on YouTube, but no money anywhere.
Google buys YouTube - HEY, there's money there, let's take it!
So Google removes offending videos, YouTube loses Cool, kids move offshore.
Duhhh.
What airline has black wings?
What airline has black wings?
You've got to be kidding!
You said "We'd suggest Damon's writing partner on Good Will Hunting, Ben Affleck"
You're kidding! Ben Affleck has been called "the black hole of acting" because he's so bad, he Sucks In any good performances around him.
