Second point, ever been into an electronics shop and seen how they talk to anyone? These arnt geeks. They are idiots. They will talk down to anyone.
I admit alot of them are eager to talk to the person the perceve as the "tech person", and will then talk down to them, which is always fun when I run rings around them, then my Wife dose, just to upset them even more. Shame in some ways the days of the BBC are gone, as it was always fun to go in to Dixons and type:
10: Print "Error"
20: GoTo 10
and watch them run around like headless chicken thinink the computor was broken. That always made me feel a bit better. (My basic is probably wrong, as it is many years since I used it.)
