While part of me thinks it looks like quite a cool advancement, the rest of me thinks it is just technology for the sake of technology. The over exaggerated hand movements and endless spinning just to replicate a couple of button presses on a remote.
This kind of work is an obvious necessity as a stepping stone to better things, but at the moment it is just there because they can do it rather than it being needed.
