everyone knows that water only kills the device IF the device is switched on whilst there is electricity flowing through it. If it's dry when you turn it back on.....no problem.
Some drinks like Coke and Coffee just kill keyboards and no amount of furtive mopping up will save it unless you throw in in the nearest dishwasher or bath quickly.
