Well, Intel must have the manufacturing issues resolved....

Apple still cannot get enough chips to sell laptops, want proof? The highest volume macbook pro is 13" and it is still running a Core 2 Duo. Why? Intel cannot get the yield up on the i3 and i5 processors for that volume of product from a single vendor.

Intel, stifling technology for at least the last 20 years.
