BlackBerry to get Adobe Flash support?

Research in Motion (Rim) would probably describe every BlackBerry as flash, but now the firm’s phones look set to become even more so: rumours are circulating that full Adobe Flash support is on its way to the range. Flash??? WTF, who needs that crap????

Who implements the flash support??

If it is Adobe, then it will work fine for the first versions, until the underlying "platform" of the phones changes only slightly ....

If it is not Adobe, then it will not work properly at all ...

Silverlight? What's that? Can I see it in action somewhere, I am on debian Lenny 64bit?

Seeing as flash' only use on the interweb is to show videos (who came up with that silly idea, I dunno) it's usefulness will soon vanish .... see below!

The rest of the flash uselessness can be summarized in two categories:

-web dev's trying to look cool developing some useless intro nobody wants to watch

-ads nobody wants to see telling you that you have won the lottery .... yah, right!

HTML will soon have support for video, flash will be useless from that point on ... ha!

As for silverlight, I am happy to see M$ is wasting another million in a technology nobody wants .... at least it is not my money .... ;-)
