Panasonic will release its Class 10 SDHC memory cards in the UK next month.
The cards - available in 4, 8, 16 and 32GB capacities - have a minimum read and write speed of 10MB/s - hence the Class 10 status.
However, Panasonic said the cards have a maximum speed of 22MB/s, which is lower than many high-speed cards on the market …
A 8GB SanDisk Extereme III only costs £45 and a 16GB is £95 inc VAT (On Bristol cameras site.. good price shame about the service!! be warned!!!) so I don't know what planet Panasonic are intending to retail on but it aint earth...
Super high speed cards are all well and good....

...But bloody useless when you put them in a device that has a cheapo-mart card slot that only reads at a fraction of the speed. Which has to be a large bulk of the devices on the market today!
