There is no way the next COD game can compete any more, Killzone 2 has raised the genres bar too much. Multi-platform development is a compromise at the best of times, and this will be what prevents COD franchise getting any better.
Grand Theft Auto (the franchise, not just GTAIV) is overrated and has always been. The only noteworthy point about these games is how Rockstar has used the work of anti-games people such as Jack Thomson for their own benefit as free publicity.
